There are many single men here on christian connection....i would say though that the ladies are as picky as the blokes..its unfortunate that we all are a but to picky at times i think...and often miss what is right in front of us(im guilty of it)
Dave, I agree but if we weren't picky we wouldn't be single . Unfortunately there's not alot of candidates here on cc and yes we sometimes have our ideal mate in mind then they aren't here. Be patient and content in all circumstances your maturity is perfect be picky and you should find the right partner

I didnt start this thread Lyn but simply gave my 2 cents worth..i no longer think that i will meet "the one" or any1 online for that matter so patient is all i can be. All i was trying to say is that i think we have the same kind of attitude than we often do when for example we look for a church to be part of(for those who have ever looked for one to be a part of)
We want the perfect church and we have a list and if it doesnt meet our every need we miss the good stuff right in front of us. Anyway im just saying. Online stuff has its good points but there are the bad ones as well.
I like what you said Lorraine, so true. And to Tara, I think the boards are a much better way to be involved with C.C. it breaks the boredom and you can meet some nice people here too. Lyn I agree with you....there's not alot of candidates here on C.C. but with God, nothing is impossible. And forgive me for saying this....but I don't really know what I want, I am happy to do some window shopping, and enjoying my singleness.
You just never know when you will meet that 'someone'. Have a friend who's getting married soon for the first time and she's nearly retiring age. Its quite amazing how they got together. Nothing is impossible with God.
Funny Tara I thought it was ladies in short supply, and Dave you hit the nail on the head. This end of our lives we are picky as out hormonal sex drive has eased praise God. To me it's not just any female in a skirt, this time I won't to know her pedigree, what's her theology, can she support me lol We all need to look at what we can contribute now that things have changed and it is no longer just a physical attributes, I am speaking to the wrinkle set lol
I know most of us are all on this site primarily to meet someone for a long lasting realationship and if all we needed was to be patient, then would any of us be here? I'm a new Christian, I'm new to this site and Í'm an active member of my church, I would love nothing more to meet a good hearted Christian man there but the truth is they are in very short supply. Lorraine....yes location has alot to do with it but one of the best things about this site is that I can form a friendship with anyone over Australia.
Yeah, I agree Sam....a very short supply of christians, I believe that's why it has become more difficult for me and the age factor too...but yes I still have hope and yes all is poosible with God. He knows exactly the right person for me at the right time. So keep on praying, hoping & believing. God is in control. Blessings :)
Isnt it fantastic that Our Father in Heaven knows exactly what we need and and when we need it...it may not always be what we expect but as his children he digs hus and provides.
Age, location, compatablitiy and all that stuff is soooo important....i think the word patience has been used a a few times now in this thread. Its tough but worth the wait i say

I think cc should be more for frienship instead than dating stuff cause sometimes even with just a wave some members revert they don't won't to go any further good luck!! how can you like someone if you dont know him or her... seriously am not upset too much cause i know as a black guy many just step backward.. nobody cares God cares so Dave you are not created to be alone on this planet may be you just need to be more specific about your choice you got patience so keep going mate..
