I would love to spend time with other members of my family, I see my kids of course but all my family live near Brisbane. But I will be kept busy of course, preparing for a huge camping adventure, i will get together with the other local Ranger leaders and prepare for about four hundred young Rangers to descend on our part of paradise, State camp.
Croc proof naturally..... hope you have a good time.
That sounds lovely Phil hope you have a great time with the other rangers- my camping trip/4wd on the weekend was great.... went down to Kosci national park and at one stage we had Kosci on the left and the Vic Alps on the right (were we up at 1550m) it was truely lovely. Like being on top of the world - closer to GOD!
Crossed the Murry and into Vic we went. Lots of driving. Good fun!

You are in a very beautiful part of the country, I miss it sometimes. I remember opening the front door during winter and seeing snow on the mountains in the distance. wow, One day I have promised that I would take my kids to the snow but have never got around to it.
Have you ever been up north? I recommend it, Its totally different, I am glad you had a great time.
Hi P
I ventured up north since I wa a little kid - so would like to do that in the next couple of years.
I agree the snow on the mountains is lovely - my home is up high and when you open the front door and drive down the street you see the snow.... and you feel the wind as well.
How wonderful GOD's country is!

Hello to Ya's,
This Easter, camping, swimming and Surfing, definitely out on the Boat fishing, even a bit of 4w driving in there too! The Beach and the bush all in one this coming Easter! Yep it is all there and that is what I'LL BE WATCHING FROM MY OFFICE WINDOW!!!! LOL! Yes folks I can see it all from here and I will be working over Easter, I work in the security Industry and while most have time off at Easter let me assure you that Satan and those that follow him do not! But on the brighter side i have found in past years the time I have spent at work over Easter is a great opportunity to spend much time with the Lord and to be truly thankful for the work that was done and finished on the cross. I can, we all can, whatever we are doing, wherever we may be this Easter, all of us have the opportunity to bring Glory to our God! So where ever you end up this Easter may it be a safe one and I look forward to hearing about it on these boards when you get back!
God Bless you all.
Shane
Hi L,
Sound beautiful. Must get hot during summer too hey. So you get worried bout bush fires?
What part of the north did you see? Most people only see the southern part of Qld, which is beautiful too, like Fraser Island is one the most beautiful places in the world.
Further up the road you have the Whitsundays. An amazing place i spent two years there one day. I was the Green Keeper on Daydream Island. The colour of the water will blow you away.
Then Townsville which is my home, the dry tropics. Three hours away is Cairns which is sooo green.
Between Cairns and Townsville is a Spanish castle in the rain forest. stunning. the caves near Rockhampton. so much to see.
Mossman Gorge, the Daintree, the crystal Cascades, Paluma, boy I sound like a tourist guide lol.
You could spend a lifetime looking at God's handywork up here.
well catch ya lata.
I am going out for dinner on Good Friday with some work friends for my birthday, which is the day before! Apart from that I will be with my daughter while she is driving around the suburbs and we will be visiting family and friends across town as my 17 year old daughter has her learner's license now. She also has a driving instructor to have proper instruction with and I practice with her what he instructs for that week or so.
The rest of the long weekend will be walking along the beach with our two dogs and lots of relaxing and pampering.. it's been soooooo hot here in Adelaide for the past week and a half! and is set to continue for another few days as well.
Hi Wanda,
I can't image what it must be like in Adelaide at the moment, hope you have a little air conditioning or lots of ice for the cooler... lol Can't believe what I've been seeing and hearing - here in Sydney it is just perfect, lovely summer (albeit a little late), this is my kind of weather and I hope it will stay like this here (not for you there though) for Easter.
We have a Friday morning service and then two on Sunday which are always amazing, but I'm hoping to have some friends over and/or go see them, and hopefully enjoy a little of the beach.
Nothing too strenuous - in fact, I should probably find out what the rest of the family are doing as maybe see some of the little ones (that's the grand nieces and nephew)
Everyone have a fantastic time of remembering our wonderful Lord Jesus and what He has done for all...
God bless,
Kaye
Wanda - I wish you a very warm birthday of Friday. 29 again???????
I cant imagine what it is like having so many hot days in a row - how is the garden coping????? Lots of reusing water?
Phil - I think you should be a tourist operator (or is tht what your day job is???) It sounds very lovely up your way...... I need to do some kms on the car later in the year I might just take a trip up that way!
Shane - as a SEP I wish you a lovely and peaceful Easter LWE.
To eveyone else who reads the boards but havent replied- I wish you GOD's peace and Love over the weekend and beyond.

Hi L,
Nah, they are just places I have either worked or camped at. I am horticulturalist/landscaper, Salesman, anything that brings in money type of person. have a blessed Easter everyone.
I took my kids to the show, what a time it was, expensive yes but not boring, we had a marvelous time, bags are very well priced and they are a bargain. Only one thing it misses out on though, the fact that Jesus is risen.
Clay clad you had a nice time at the show.
My easter was filled with lots of noice laughter and the occassional set of tears. Suppose thats what you get with 11 kids under the one roof.
A special time was had my all - it was lovely as everytime we go to Dubbo we rock down to my borthers chuch - a great message on Sunday.
Take care everyone
L
I know some churches at Dubbo, it is where my dad lives now, 11 kids eh? not bad

With Easter coming around soon - my thoughts turn the the significance of Easter, reflecting and asking for forgiveness and the peace that I am hoping will come with spending time with God.
I was initally thinking of going on a road trip interstate - but my brother has rang and now the kids and I are meeting up with the rest of the family( I havent rung my other brother yet to say we are coming ... how long do I have ?), oh there will only be 11 kids and 5 big kids in a four bedroom home.
All the kids have a great time and us bigger people we do too. Family is important to me, sharing the ups and downs with your siblings is something I have appreciated while going through the 'D" and what is associated with it all. I look forward to spending time with GOD and my family, what are you up to at Easter time?
