I like to be Scientific about such questions! Facts, that's what will see this discussion topic through!

Fact One: It's common knowledge men have dundruff issues, and dundruff up her nostrils makes a her sneeze - FACT!

Fact Two: Platform shoes for men are heavy, made with solid fire-hardened metal reinforced soles that crush toes in very unappealling flat shoes - FACT!

But surely woman aren't disturbed by the idea of a little dundruff up the snoz, and the potential of never being able to walk with all ten again are they?

Are there anymore facts please?

Facts ... mmm .... I am tallish.
It does feel better, easier in formal dancing (a close dance hold used for waltz, salsa etc) to lift your hands up to your partners hand/shoulder. Definitely for turns/spinning someone the same height or taller will pull this off a lot more easily. A good dancer however of any height can partner anyone and will be much in demand ... not sure if these are facts, more opinions!

To not answer your question - I don't know why taller women would be 'afraid' to dance with shorter men. If you find a man who wants to dance, hang onto him, I think!

A lot of tall girls were only ever taught to dance the male 'steps' if there weren't enough guys in the class (I'm talking my school of 25 years ago here [horrors], I was the tallest in a class of mostly girls, teachers now-days would of course never be so consistently inconsiderate). Maybe they are afraid to dance, full stop? Or perhaps it has been culturally inflicted upon them?

Dunker Giselle!

I was the first to dancing class, and first to leave! It was in a hall, and because the teachers were at the front door welcoming everyone, I slipped out the side door clean and ticked off the list! Great girls, scarey moves... hehehe!

Dancing class horrors! FACT!

I know I am going to get in trouble for this, but if they are really tall you end up with your nose in their bustline,....by the way, I avoid dancing... I have got as much coordination on the dance floor as a rubber octopus on skates

Good on you James, the thought had crossed my mind too!

Some taller women have such an ample bossum they can not anotomically dance with shorter men (without suffocating them)! FACT!

I have done a little ballroom and latin dancing and have been partnered with short, tall, thick and thin men. I think that if you work at it you can compromise on any of the differences. When it all boils down, dancing is all about fun and having a go right?, not really the differences in height, skill, etc.

Adventurous, fun loving people don't worry about height difference, they just make it work! FACT!
