Can The Worldwide Body of Believers Come Together Under One Banner, Before Jesus Returns? If So How?

As unorthodox as this idea may seem, I have a feeling it will be the members of the body of Christ, who are free of denominational loyalties, and can perceive the power of unity as more important than defending Theological 'turf', that will first believe this is a possibility, and second work towards making it a reality in our life time...

I was very blessed to participate in a church in an area where the denominational boundaries were ignored. The different ministers met together each week to pray, whatever their denomination, and still do. The congregations looked after each other and did things jointly. And that was when we really saw the Spirit of God poured out in that community. Praying together, even fasting together, evangelising together. It was glorious. It wasn't physical turf-war that reigned it in - but it was, in part, a lack of agreement about theology, even though that had not been an issue at the start. People chose, of their own accord, to fade-out. Tricky. Much prayer needed.

Doubt we will ever see it
The church is described as a body but sadly everyone wants to be the head
but Christ is the head
no one wants to be an elbow or finger or heaven forbid a bottom
if we could work out our differences then there would be no football in this
country as all the sports venues would be booked out for church each week
I think it was in John Smiths 1988 book advance Australia where ye stated that if all the
professing christians in this country went to church each week there would no be enough buildings
to accomodate them all

What I want to see more is that the nation if Israel accepts Jesus as messiah
when we see that we will not only see a great nation saved but we will
see jesuss return soon after
